Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Farnborough is seeking a Licensed Mechanical Inspector for night shift to support maintenance at the main base and worldwide locations. You will certify tasks, manage work shifts, and ensure compliance with MOE Part 145 and UKCAA standards.

The role requires an active UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance License with relevant Type Ratings, plus Part 145 certification experience, and flexibility for 4x4 night pattern work.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance License is required.
• Relevant aircraft Type Ratings are required.
• Certification experience within a Part 145 organization is expected.
• MOE Part 145 familiarity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as inspector in support of a specific aircraft, line or base maintenance input in accordance with MOE Part 145.
• Perform the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of a Licensed Mechanical Senior Inspector, when requested by a Service Team Manager.
• Manage manpower resources for licensed mechanical and avionics inspectors and fitters assigned to a specific aircraft line or base maintenance input.
• Certify tasks trained on and authorised to perform, at Farnborough main base and other locations worldwide.
• Promote and ensure maintenance commitments are fulfilled within the assigned time scale; inform Leaders if delays occur.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed fully before end of each shift or reassignment.
