Job summary

The Hoxton in Southwark is seeking a Night Auditor to join our vibrant hotel team in London. You’ll ensure guest experience never flags at night, welcome guests, settle bills, and support the Night Manager with overbookings when needed.

You’ll work with other teams to stay busy, answer phones, handle requests, and be the one-stop shop for guests, all while delivering our signature warm hospitality.

Qualifications

• It's all about attitude and helping others, with confidence to work things out independently.
• Previous hotel experience is great but not mandatory; training is provided.
• You are eager to learn and create memorable guest experiences.

• Coordinate with other teams and support the Night Manager with overbooking handling.

We are looking for a so-positive-it's-infectious Night Auditor to join us at The Hoxton, Southwark.

The Hoxton, Southwark, the third Hoxton in our hometown of London. This London borough is known for its colourful history. Right here is where famous London pub The Prince Albert once stood. Patrons would bet on sport from their barstool, handing fistfuls of cash to the pub’s very own licensed bookie! We have 192 bedrooms, 2 restaurants- Albie & Seabird and our first Working From_ location not just in London but Europe!

Job Description

What you'll do...

• You make sure our guest experience never flags, even at night! Whatever's needed, you treat our guests as individuals, make them feel welcome and their stay special - the Hox way
• Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises
• Work with all our teams to make sure we're always busy, and help our Night Manager with any overbooking levels
• Answer phones, sort out requests and anything that might arise time, involving the team as needed - you're the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to.

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

• It's all about attitude for us, someone who enjoys being helpful to others and isn't easily flustered - there's a smaller team working at night so confidence and knowing how to work things out by yourself are key
• Previous hotel (or similar) experience is great, but it's not a must-have for us - if you're eager to learn we can teach you what you need to know
• You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
• Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues
• You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get stuff done
