Job summary

Niche Central is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our expanding practice in London. You will contribute to high-rise new-builds and refurbishments across London and the South East, delivering top-quality structural design for architect- and developer-led commissions.

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, with an MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering and solid UK experience, ready to develop in a well-established, design-focused consultancy.

Qualifications

• Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE.
• MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in both new-build and refurbishment sectors in the UK.
• Strong technical design capability with career development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-rise new-build and complex refurbishments in London and the South East.
• Collaborate on architect- and developer-led commissions with a design-focused consultancy.

Job description

Niche Central (South) London consultancy requires a Structural Design Engineer to join the expanding practice as it continues to win top-quality commissions.

Candidates will need to be a Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, be educated to MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering and must have gained good structural design experience gained in both new-build and refurbishment sectors in the UK. They should be technically-strong and looking to develop their career in a well-established 30-strong London design-focused consultancy.

Current workload includes high-rise new-build as well as complex refurbishments across London and the South East, with project values up to £150million working on both Architect- and Developer-led commissions.
