Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Transport Driver to join the Cody depot team, driving between hospital sites across Farnborough and surrounding counties while ensuring safe handling of medical records, samples and stores.

The role requires flexibility, reliability, and willingness to work some evenings or weekends as needed. A full clean UK driving licence and good map/Sat Nav skills are essential, with NHS infection control training provided.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence
• GCSE English and Maths
• D1 driving licence with valid classification
• Knowledge of road regulations and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Safely driving vehicles to transport materials between designated locations.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive items during transport.
• Handle deliveries with care and maintain punctuality.
• Keep accurate delivery and collection records.
• Adhere to NHS policies, infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
• Work flexibly across sites to meet operational needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and NHS organisations.
