Job summary

Insight Employment are recruiting a Contracts Manager for one client supplying critical care products to the healthcare sector. It is not necessarily office based, but being within driving distance to Letchworth or Barnsley would be beneficial for occasional office visits.

This newly created role will own tender preparation and submission, framework management and regulatory compliance, including Carbon Reduction Plan and Modern Slavery reporting, with close collaboration to the Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of NHS Supply Chain framework submissions.
• Hands-on experience with Find a Tender portal and Jaggaer One.
• Knowledge of carbon reduction reporting and modern slavery requirements.
• Understanding of medical device regulatory frameworks (CE/MDD/MDR, ISO, UKRP, MHRA).
• Experience with Scottish & Northern Ireland Procurement frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, submission and ongoing maintenance of tenders and framework agreements.
• Manage all interactions with the Find a Tender service and Jaggaer One portal.
• Coordinate responses to Scottish Procurement opportunities and other frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulatory requirements (CE, MDD/MDR, ISO, UKRP, MHRA).
• Oversee Carbon Reduction Plan development and Evergreen assessments.
• Manage Modern Slavery statements, risk assessments and NHS compliance obligations.
• Maintain contract records, monitor KPIs, and manage variations/renewals.
• Collaborate with management to deliver high-quality submissions.
• Provide commercial and compliance advice on framework rules.
• Identify and mitigate contractual/regulatory/reputational risks.
