Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Supplies and Procurement Band 2 Supply Chain Operative based at Walsall Manor Hospital. The role provides on-the-job training, handling delivery, stock management, and use of P2P procurement systems to support wards and theatres.

You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, focusing on customer service, stock accuracy, and teamwork within a busy NHS distribution centre in Walsall.

Qualifications

• Experience of stock control & stock control systems.
• Experience in general warehousing duties.
• Ability to prioritise workload in response to service need.
• Experience of handling customer telephone queries.
• Experience of NHS ordering systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and be accountable for own actions.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and distribution of goods using electric towing tugs.
• Raising orders, stock receipting, stock delivery and replenishment.
• Use of computerised ordering systems and Microsoft Office applications.
