Job summary

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for ARP services to NHS Ambulance Trusts across England, Scotland and Wales. The role prioritises value for money, transparency and regulatory compliance while managing contracts and stakeholder relationships.

The post can be home-based with optional office access in London, Bristol or Barnsley, and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or professional procurement qualification required.
• CIPS level 4 or equivalent recognised.
• Experience delivering complex NHS/Central Government procurements.
• Strong analytical and commercial appraisal capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for ARP services to NHS Ambulance Trusts.
• Design and run open/competitive and framework procurements.
• Ensure value for money, transparency and regulatory adherence at every stage.
• Manage contracts, drive performance, and resolve commercial issues with stakeholders.
