Job summary

ESNEFT is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist support technician to join the Pharmacy department at Colchester Hospital. You will play a key role in supplying medicines to clinical areas and ensuring stock accuracy across the site.

Based in Colchester, you will work around the hospital, using electronic stock systems and Epic. The role offers development within a large NHS trust and exposure to automated dispensing and regional services.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C / 4 or higher) or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or GPhC recognised equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of stock using an electronic stock management system.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills through team working in complex multi-disciplinary environments.
• Self-managing daily workload in a stock/stores/logistics environment.
• Checking, storage and distribution of medicines or equivalent goods in regulated environments.
• Experience of Pharmacy Robotic systems.
• Has provided training to junior staff.
• Experience using Epic Software and Inventory Management Software.
