Job summary

We are recruiting qualified Occupational Therapists to join NHS Trusts across the United Kingdom. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs to help patients of all ages overcome challenges caused by illness, injury, or disability.

Qualifications

• OT degree and HCPC eligibility.
• minimum of 2 years post-registration clinical experience.
• Good conduct certificate and medical fitness.
• Strong English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, and environmental needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ abilities to perform daily living and work activities.
• Recommend and instruct in the use of adaptive equipment and modifications to home/work environments.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with professional standards.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate and support patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and CPD activities.
