Qualifications

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate and support patients, family members, and caregivers.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and CPD activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, and environmental needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based practices.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ abilities to perform daily living and work activities.
  • Recommend and instruct in the use of adaptive equipment and modifications to home/work environments.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Mandatory Requirements for Applicants
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration and license with the Occupational Therapists Council of Kenya (OTCK).
  • Eligibility for registration with the UK’s Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). (Our team will guide successful candidates through this process)
  • Minimum of 2 years full‑time, post‑registration clinical experience.
  • A valid Certificate of Good Conduct (Police Clearance).
  • Medical fitness report from an approved clinic.
  • Strong English language communication skills (both written and verbal).
