Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Integration Engineer to join the Health Informatics Systems and Integration team. The role focuses on developing robust integration solutions, improving digital workflows, and ensuring secure information flow between clinical and corporate systems.

The post holder will work with colleagues, suppliers and service teams to deliver interfaces, document processes and support knowledge transfer to operations, with an emphasis on automation

Qualifications

Experience with NHS computer systems and integration technologies.
Proven ability to design, develop, test and implement interfaces across multiple systems.
Experience in translating user and system requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and implement integration interfaces between Trust systems and external systems.
Analyse requirements and produce clear technical and non-technical specifications.
Document processes and facilitate knowledge transfer into live service support.
Support safe implementation, testing and transition of integration changes with proper documentation.
