Job summary

The Finance Manager will lead the day-to-day finance function for the East of England Provider Collaborative, delivering rigorous financial planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis to support decision-making and sustainability.

Working with senior leaders and partner organisations, they will strengthen financial governance, drive improvements in systems and reporting, and line-manage a small finance team.

Qualifications

• Full professional accountancy qualification (CCAB or CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience of financial management, accounting concepts and NHS reporting.
• Experience within the NHS is essential.
• Strong analytical and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, financial planning and forecasting for the Collaborative.
• Produce high-quality financial reports and business-case analysis.
• Support statutory, NHS and internal reporting requirements with timely returns.
• Develop financial models, costing and options analysis for investments.
• Lead on financial systems, processes and controls to improve efficiency.
• Manage a small finance team and deputise for the Head of Finance when needed.
