Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) – Domestic cleaner for the Brooker Centre. The role supports the Estates and Facilities Department with cleaning services across the division, maintaining national standards and PLACE requirements.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, following a scheduled cleaning plan, completing records, and ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are available.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O'Levels or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar cleaning or catering role.
• Experience of working in the NHS.
• Knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness.
• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
• Willingness to undertake health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality cleaning service across the division.
• Work to a cleaning schedule and complete relevant documentation.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are available.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
