Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Bank Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) Domestic cleaner based at Hartley Hospital, Southport. The role contributes to high cleaning standards across clinical and ward areas, aligning with National cleaning standards, PLACE and CQC requirements.

You will work flexibly in a team or alone, maintain cleaning schedules, manage supplies, and complete documentation.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: GCSE/O'Levels or experience.
• Desirable criteria: Foundation certificate in food hygiene level 2.

Responsibilities

• To work as a team member carrying out facilities tasks as allocated and prioritised.
• Cleaning of clinical/ward areas, inclusive of toilets.
• Waste disposal.
• Linen transportation.
• Basic food preparation.
• Fridge and food temperature monitoring.
• Till operation.
• Collating service user menu orders.
• Complete relevant documentation and adhere to policies and procedures.
