Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in Hinckley is seeking a Facilities Assistant to deliver patient-focused services across portering, cleaning and catering. The role operates at Hinckley & Bosworth Community Hospital with shifts 9.15am–7pm, including alternate weekends, averaging 32.63 hours per week.

You will rotate between duties as required to maintain a safe, efficient service for patients, staff and visitors. Interviews require photo ID and right to work documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient-focused facilities and support services within NHS or hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Duties include the daily preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level.
• Provide patient-focused cleaning and domestic services, including washing linen, to NHS cleanliness standards.
• Provide portering services including transportation of linen cages, waste bins/carts and patient moves between departments.
