Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Cornwall is seeking a Team Manager for the Eating Disorders service. You will provide visible clinical and operational leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care and support for a multidisciplinary team across the county.

The role involves managing resources and travel across Cornwall to attend meetings and trainings, with a focus on staff wellbeing, governance, and service development within the countywide Eating Disorder service.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration, or lay person with management experience.
• Significant post-registration or management experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing complex clinical situations and risk.
• Passion for compassionate, person-centred care and staff wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective clinical and operational leadership for the ward.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care and positive client outcomes.
• Lead, support and develop the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage service resources effectively, including workforce planning and budgetary responsibilities.
• Promote and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, other community teams and partner agencies.
