Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Counselling/Clinical Psychologist to support the Specialist Eating Disorders Services for Adults across North Devon (Barnstaple) and Exeter. The role involves senior clinical leadership, travel between sites and MDT collaboration.

The post requires a psychology degree and doctoral level training (HCPC approved) with accreditation (e.g., BABCP/UKCP). Flexible working and inclusive practice are emphasised within our Trust values.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in psychology and doctoral level training in applied psychology (or equivalent) approved by HCPC.
• Desirable to have training in CBT-E or MANTRA and access to funded therapy training.
• Experience providing specialist psychological interventions for eating disorders and supervision to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments for clients referred to the service, including those with comorbidity and complexity.
• Deliver specialist psychological interventions to clients with eating disorders and their families.
• Provide clinical supervision to psychology colleagues, trainees and assistants; potential line management opportunities.
• Collaborate with MDT to ensure delivery of psychological therapies across inpatient, outreach and community services.
