Job summary

The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is offering a development post in its Finance Directorate. You will join the Costing Team to support the production of costing information for national returns and internal decision making.

You will help develop workflows, ensure data quality, and assist in analysing financial and activity information using costing software, while studying toward the AAT qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths required.
• Willing to study towards AAT while in role.
• Good communication and data handling skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing costing information for national returns and internal decisions.
• Help develop workflows and improve data quality in the costing data.
• Analyse financial and activity data and enter data into costing software.
• Provide regular analyses to costing practitioners and understand cost allocations.
• Prepare finance and activity reconciliations using ledgers and monitoring reports.
• Analyse data across systems and work within NHS Standing Financial Instructions.
• Support Senior Finance Officers as required.
