Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to lead and support cleaning teams, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff across Trust sites.

The role requires prior care sector experience, supervision capability, and the ability to monitor standards and deliver services to agreed quality levels. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NHS / Care Sector Qualification present.
• External Care / Service Provider Qualification present.
• 2 years experience in care sector.
• 1 year supervision experience in care

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure an effective and efficient cleaning service across Trust sites.
• Monitor cleanliness standards through regular audits, ensuring any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
• Provide training, support and performance monitoring to help staff work safely and effectively.
• Allocate staff resources to meet service demands and ensure adequate cleaning cover.
• Work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure cleaning services meet operational needs and service level agreements.
• Actively monitor cleaning methods and procedures, ensuring staff are competent and compliant with required standards.
• Work independently to manage your workload and make decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Provide leadership cover for the line manager during periods of annual leave and out-of-hours working, including evenings, nights and weekends.
