The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cleaning Auditor based at North Middlesex University Hospital to ensure compliance with NHS National Cleaning Standards and IPC guidelines. You will conduct audits, report findings, and work with cleaning teams to uphold safe environments for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Essential: English Language to GCSE standard or equivalent
• Essential: Good written and verbal skills, able to liaise with the public and staff at all levels
• Essential: Literate and Numerate
• Desirable: NVQ level 3

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits of cleaning services across all hospital areas to ensure compliance with NHS cleaning standards and infection control protocols.
• Use approved audit tools and scoring systems to assess cleanliness, hygiene, and service delivery.
• Identify non-conformances and areas for improvement, documenting findings accurately and clearly.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present results to senior management, including recommendations for corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of corrective measures and follow up to ensure sustained compliance.
• Collaborate with cleaning teams and supervisors to provide guidance and support for continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national cleaning standards and incorporate changes into auditing practices.
