Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., .NET C#, Java, Python, Go) with core software engineering principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience with or interest in agile environments and delivering high-quality code on tight deadlines.
• Passion for solving complex technical problems—both independently and in a team.
• Payments or fintech knowledge is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performing systems using microservices.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code for Checkout platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management to solve business challenges.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and share knowledge across the engineering community.
• Operate and own the resilience and performance of the systems you develop.
• Mentor and support peers while growing your own technical expertise.
