Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Newly Qualified Teacher for KS1 across Doncaster schools. This temporary, flexible supply role offers exposure to multiple primary settings, with strong support from experienced consultants throughout your supply work.

Starting ASAP, you’ll teach Years 1 and 2, delivering engaging lessons, planning, and assessing pupil progress. DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required, with rates of £130–£190 per day depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status is required.
  • Newly Qualified Teacher or early-career teacher.
  • Interest in teaching across Key Stage 1.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Newly Qualified Teacher - KS1 - Doncaster

Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in Key Stage 1 across schools in Doncaster?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting Newly Qualified Teachers for temporary, ongoing supply opportunities across primary schools in Doncaster, with a particular focus on Key Stage 1.

Starting a new academic year can be a great time for a Newly Qualified Teacher to gain experience across different schools, build confidence and explore the type of setting that suits you. Some of our partner schools may also be able to support appropriate ECT induction terms where available.

Position: Newly Qualified Teacher - KS1

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a Newly Qualified Teacher working across KS1 in Doncaster, you will have the opportunity to teach pupils in Years 1 and 2 across a variety of primary schools.

The Newly Qualified Teacher role could include day‑to‑day supply, short‑term cover or longer‑term opportunities depending on school requirements. You will be supported by experienced education consultants throughout your supply work.
