Job summary

Academics in Doncaster is recruiting KS1 Teaching Assistants for flexible, temporary supply work across mainstream primary schools in Doncaster.

You will support Years 1 and 2 with classroom activities, small groups or 1:1 support, and may assist pupils with SEN. DBS required and a start ASAP.

Salary is £92.56–£95 per day, paid via PAYE with holiday pay included, dependent on experience and client rate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in an education setting.
• Experience supporting KS1 pupils is desirable.
• SEN experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Caring, patient and adaptable approach.

Are you an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across mainstream primary schools in Doncaster?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting KS1 Teaching Assistants for temporary, ongoing supply work across mainstream primary schools in Doncaster.

This KS1 Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting younger pupils with their learning and development.

You may provide whole-class classroom support, work with small groups or offer additional support to pupils with SEN, depending on the needs of the Doncaster school.

Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will support pupils in Years 1 and 2 with their classroom learning, development and wellbeing.

The KS1 Teaching Assistant may work as part of the whole classroom team, provide small-group support or work on a 1:1 basis where required. Some roles may also involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs within a mainstream environment.
