Newly Qualified Swimming Teacher – Stirling

Stepping Stones is a leading private learn-to-swim provider in Scotland, known for delivering high-quality, low-ratio swimming lessons for children in small groups of up to 6 children. We are looking for Newly Qualified Teachers eager to start a career in swimming instruction.

Role Overview

As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will shadow experienced instructors, gain hands-on experience, and help deliver our swim programme for children aged 3 to 11 years. This role offers a chance to build a strong foundation in swim instruction and positively impact children's learning and development.

Qualifications
  • National Governing Body Swimming Teacher Certificate (Essential): SSTQ | UKCC | STA | ASA
  • Passion for learning and professional development
  • Desirable but not essential: NRASTC or NPLQ qualification
Main Duties
  • Participate in mentoring and shadowing programs
  • Assist in delivering swimming lessons following the weekly framework
  • Support swimmer progression and development
  • Assist in swimmer assessments for awards twice per year
  • Provide feedback to the office as needed
