Job Description

This is an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to start a career in the leisure industry. Gain industry leading qualifications and experience with our team at our world-class facilities in Stirlingshire. You will primarily provide a quality swimming instructional programme for pre-school, school-aged children and adults. You will learn to plan lessons, so that individuals' needs can be met, and to enhance their experience and make best progress with each child/adult in the programme. At Active Stirling, we have a team-first approach, so you will also earn your lifeguarding qualification and some coaching qualifications to support operations across The PEAK and gain invaluable experience in multiple environments. Please note, roles are based at The PEAK and Community Venues in the Stirling area. Applicants must be available to work at weekends. Various part-time contracts available. All fixed term for 1 year initially.

Requirements
  1. SSTQ - Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification
  2. Be able to swim 25 metres (learners who cannot swim 25 metres must be capable of wading, and effecting a rescue, in a pool with a depth no greater than chest height)
  3. Be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool.
Responsibilities
  1. To plan and prepare quality swimming sessions including lesson planning and evaluation.
  2. To support the delivery of membership activities and Holiday Club at The PEAK.
  3. Create a great experience for customers and your team members.
