Job summary

Wiltshire Council is recruiting a Newly Qualified Social Worker to join the Advice & Contact Team, supporting the community to live safely and independently.

You'll screen safeguarding referrals, review incoming referrals, and process them with comprehensive risk assessments in a customer-centred environment.

We offer a hybrid working model, wellbeing support, and career progression with a salary of £37,280–£39,152 per annum for 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of safeguarding processes (Section 42) and Social Work England registration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a customer-centred approach.
  • Ability to work in a supportive team with clear progression paths.

Responsibilities encompass screening safeguarding referrals, reviewing incoming referrals, and processing them with thorough risk assessments.

To qualify for this role, you will need a good understanding of the Safeguarding Process and Section 42, along with Social Work England registration.
