Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to assess individual needs, plan and coordinate outcomes to promote independence and personalisation. You will identify re-ablement opportunities, engage with community resources, and work within a strong team to ensure wellbeing and safe, effective care.

You will maintain an OT caseload, follow training and supervision, and apply the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding principles in daily practice.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with qualification recognised by HCPC.
• Registration with HCPC is mandatory.
• ASYE or evidence of post graduate CPD is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments and coordinate outcomes to promote independence.
• Identify re-ablement opportunities and access required services.
• Promote strength-based, personalised care and choice.
• Liaise with local providers to secure better outcomes.
• Maintain caseloads with supervision and appropriate support.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional standards are met.
