Job Title: Newly Qualified Occupational Therapist
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss.)
About the role

Join an evidence-based provision where quality and Neuro-affirming best practices are delivered. We are looking for an enthusiastic newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will complete a preceptorship year under supervision before working more independently once competencies are signed off. As a registered practitioner, you will implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to help our pupils in their daily lives, with supervision, while maintaining your professional practice and CPD.
You will assess and treat individuals within the service, delivering meaningful activities in both individual and group settings. You will perform screenings and assessments as required, with report writing supported by your supervisor initially. Additionally, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.
You will work within our supportive multidisciplinary therapy team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants, to create an environment where pupils can learn and develop. An integrated approach to care, education, and clinical services is ideal for this role.
