Job summary

The NWH Group is seeking a Newly Qualified HGV Driver to start a career in transport operations. You will receive structured training and mentoring while handling planned routes and learning safe driving practices.

You will be guided through daily vehicle checks, safety compliance, and professional customer interactions with overtime opportunities and a clear progression path to a full driver rate.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tacho Card must be valid.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles safely and on planned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Coordinate with transport teams for efficient collections and deliveries.
• Adhere to road safety laws and company policies.
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers.
• During training, work with an experienced mentor to build confidence on the road.
