Job summary

Royal London is recruiting a newly qualified Actuary to join the Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) pricing team in Alderley Park. You will own BPA transaction pricing, analyse pension data and interpret benefits, and independently run pricing models.

You'll communicate complex results clearly, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and develop your commercial and technical understanding in a supportive, inclusive environment. Hybrid working model offered.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified Actuary with BPA, pensions or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in life, pensions or investment sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for the running of BPA transaction pricing.
• Produce analysis of pension scheme data and interpret benefits.
• Independently set up, run and troubleshoot suite of actuarial pricing models.
• Analyze more complex scheme benefits and modelling challenges, proposing approaches and escalation as needed.
• Take ownership of your development, building technical and commercial understanding.
• Look for opportunities to improve pricing processes.
