Job summary

Royal London is seeking a talented actuary to join its Bulk Purchase Annuity pricing team in Alderley Park. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with 50% home/office based collaboration.

You will check pricing results, collaborate across teams, and contribute to pricing solutions for complex pension features. The successful candidate will be a qualified actuary with BPA pricing experience, strong analytics, and excellent communication.

Contract type: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week

Location: Alderley Park

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We have brand new opportunities to join the Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) team at Royal London, the UK's largest mutual life, pensions, and investment company.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Actuary to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and make a significant impact within our business unit.

About the role

• Checking BPA pricing results to ensure these are technically accurate and appropriately capture the required benefits

• Collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate pricing.

• Contributing towards judgement calls and developing solutions for complex pension benefits or proposition features.

• Providing technical expertise and coaching to junior team members.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing processes.

• Take ownership of your development, proactively building your commercial understanding.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified actuary

• Experience in BPA pricing or other relevant field.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

• A proactive and innovative approach to work.
