Overview

Artemis Human Capital is pleased to be partnering with a top NI accountancy practice as they seek to appoint a newly qualified accountant to their accounting team. This is an accounting focused role with no audit work or experience required of the successful applicant. Working within a dynamic team across an enviable portfolio of NI base clients, you will receive a market leading benefits package & genuine scope for career development as well!

The Role

Working with the firm's dynamic team, you will be involved across the following areas:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Preparation of month end journals, including accruals, prepayments & payroll.
• Maintaining accurate financial records of accounts payable & accounts receivable functions.
• Liaising closely with clients to ensure queries are resolved efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will must possess the following attributes:

• ACA or ACCA qualified professional (preferably within the past 12 months).
• Previous accountancy practice experience is essential.
• Competent Microsoft Excel user.
• Excellent organisational & communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
