Job summary

M4 Talent Group - Dartford is seeking reliable Class 2 HGV drivers for immediate roles in the local area. You will carry out deliveries, complete paperwork, and maintain professional standards on the road, representing the company with excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus prior HGV 2 experience. A strong commitment to health and safety, good communication, and the ability to manage delivery schedules independently are

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
Strong commitment to health and safety.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, professional and responsible approach to work.
Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
Complete deliveries and collections on time and efficiently.
Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation accurately.
Liaise professionally with customers, site teams and colleagues.
Report any vehicle defects, incidents or issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
Follow all relevant driving, health & safety and company procedures.
