Job summary

Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for the Newcastle Quayside location. You will prepare, cook and serve meals as part of a busy team, with 15 contracted hours per week and shifts including evenings and weekends. The role is permanent and pays up to £13.06 per hour.

You’ll help with delivery receipt, stock organisation and kitchen cleanliness to ensure guests receive meals that meet Premier Inn standards. Prior hotel experience isn’t required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required, previous work in food service or retail is acceptable.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock locations.
• Work closely with hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen presenting well.
