Job summary

Deichmann SE in Farnborough is recruiting a Sales Assistant for our new store. It is a 12-hour contract, part-time and permanent, with an hourly rate up to £12.91 plus potential commission. Start date is immediate; location is Unit 8/9, Princes Mead Shopping Centre, Farnborough.

You will warmly welcome customers, answer questions, process sales at the till, upsell products, and keep shelves stocked while maintaining a tidy shop floor. Work with the team to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible days including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.

Purpose : Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our new Farnborough store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
