Job Introduction
BBC Children in Need is the UK’s most recognisable children’s charity, funding essential work with children and young people across the UK to help them thrive and overcome their challenges.
At a time when we can only fund one in seven of the organisations that apply to us for support, our Partnerships Team is fulfilling a crucial role in securing new partnerships to ensure we can be there for every child who needs us.
We have ambitious plans for growth to make sure this is possible and this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to help deliver change for children.
The New Partnerships Manager will join a highly motivated, experienced team responsible for identifying and securing new partnerships across a range of sectors. They will help generate significant income, increase audience reach, and maximise the power of our brand so that new partners can see the impact they can have for children and young people.
The individual will need to develop relationships with prospective partners using their proactive outreach skills and networks, and use a relationship-led approach to develop the new partnerships pipeline, ensuring potential for high-value, strategic, multi-year, multi-faceted partnerships.
The role involves the development of impact-led propositions and contributing to the successful delivery of BBC Children in Need's annual campaign, in partnership with the BBC, by integrating new partner activities to amplify the campaign, reaching new audiences and achieving growth.
