Job summary

People First Team Japan/ピープルファーストチームジャパン is seeking a Food Technical Coordinator to support operations in Surrey. You will assist the Technical Manager, ensure food safety compliance, and help sustain high service and product quality. The role is permanent, full-time, and on-site five days a week.

The position runs 08:30-17:00 with a salary of £30,000 per year. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be customer-focused, ready to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in foodsafety and food legislation basics.
• Customer service or sales experience is desirable.
• Polite, accurate communication with colleagues and customers.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to operational enquiries promptly, politely and accurately.
• Support Technical Manager to achieve objectives and collaborate with teammates.
• Demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the company's products to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain coordination to a high standard across tasks.
• Complete tasks within tight timeframes.
• Comply with FS legislation, company policies and SOPs.
• Carry out housekeeping and site inspections regularly.
• Follow up NCs and close them in a timely manner.
• Work with internal teams to maintain high standards of operations.
• Coordinate with customer complaints and investigate incidents with relevant teams.
• Check records and forms regularly and report progress and corrective actions.
• Coordinate production activities related to technical/FS functions.
