Job summary

Firm Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a New Homes Conveyancing Lawyer in Taunton. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, set up new development sites and oversee plot sales.

We seek at least 2 years' PQE with strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, excellent client-care and the ability to work independently while supporting the New Homes team. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' PQE in a similar New Homes/Conveyancing role.
• Experience with site set-ups and new build sales.
• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own New Homes caseload from instruction to completion.
• Set up new development sites and handle associated plot sales.
• Support and oversee the day-to-day running of the New Homes team.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to team members.
• Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, CQS requirements and internal procedures.
• Handle freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and related sales.
