Job summary

Scale is seeking a New Grad Software Engineer in London to own end-to-end development of a public-sector AI data product from concept to deployment. You will ship features, engage with customers, and iterate rapidly while working on high-impact projects.

The role requires a BS in CS/EECS/CE/Statistics with internship experience and a track record of shipping products at scale. Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB is desirable.

Qualifications

• Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience building web apps full-stack and APIs, with customer-facing workflow
• Previous Software Engineering internship experience
• Track record shipping high-quality products and features at scale
• Experience processing large data volumes
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React and/or MongoDB

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of a new public-sector AI data product from concept to deployment
• Ship features and tooling, iterate with customers and users
• Build data pipelines, evaluation infrastructure, and monitoring for reliability
• Collaborate with Scale's Global Public Sector team to address critical challenges
