Job summary

Evans Halshaw in Chester seeks a Business Manager to drive Finance & Insurance opportunities while delivering outstanding customer relationships and a 5-star CSI. You will represent the Changan franchise at the Ford Chester dealership, leading a team to hit monthly targets and grow the customer base.

Ideal candidates boast excellent communication, strong leadership, and proven ability to coach teams to exceed sales goals, with a customer-centric approach and robust negotiation skills.

• Work under pressure, set targets and monitor performance against budget.

£26,000 basic salary with OTE £60,000, company car, pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services

As a Business Manager with us, you will be instrumental in driving Finance and Insurance opportunities while focusing on achieving outstanding customer relationships and a 5-star CSI performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent our new franchise Changan at our Ford Chester dealership.

What do you need to succeed as a Business Manager?

• A high level of professional acumen and have an outstanding work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to captain a team to obtain outstanding results as well as supporting and leading them
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets monthly
• Influence and negotiation skills
• Excellent relationship building skills, with both your team and customers

What does the Business Manager role involve?

• Driving your sales team to optimise every Finance and Insurance opportunity that comes into the business
• Establish wants and needs of the customer while building a rapport that will retain them to the brand and the business
• Expertly handling the enquiry management process, supporting and motivating your team to convert prospects into customers
• Working under pressure, establishing targets and monitoring performance against budget
• Understanding shortfalls and addressing those with your team and Sales Manager
• Regular feedback to your team, looking at performance, targets and coaching to developing them
