New Business Sales Manager (Construction Materials - Product Testing)

(HOME-BASED BASED IN NORTHWEST OF ENGLAND/NORTH MIDLANDS)

A new vacancy for a New Business Sales Manager with leading UK provider of product testing services to designers, manufacturers & installers in Construction/Built Environment markets. Home-based in the Northwest of England/North Midlands, the New Business Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company by identifying, qualifying and securing predominantly new business.

Candidates for this New Business Sales Manager role will ideally come from a Construction Materials or Product Testing background, with at least 5yrs experience in a sales/business development role selling to product manufacturers & suppliers. The successful candidate will be a tenacious and energetic self-starter with strong networking & negotiation skills and real desire to win new business. This will be an excellent opportunity for a top-flight sales professional to join a well-established company with ambitious plans for growth over the next five years.

Key requirements:

- A background in either Construction Materials and/or Product Testing industry.

- At least 5yrs experience in a high-level sales/business development role selling to UK Manufacturers or Suppliers (esp. R&D/product development, NPI or Test laboratory-related)

- Ability to assimilate complex engineering concepts.

- Self-starter, tenacious and energetic sales professional.
