Job summary

Coversure Cannock is hiring a New Business Insurance Executive to join the team in Cannock. You will service commercial clients across Motor Trade, Motor Fleet, and Commercial Combined, growing the book by generating leads and converting referrals.

You'll work in a hybrid setup (2–3 days in the Cannock office) after training, with support from senior management to help you win new business and achieve targets while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Motor Trade Combined, Road Risk, Motor Fleet, and/or Commercial Combined.
• Strong passion for new business.
• Motivated and driven to exceed targets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident telephone manner and ability to build relationships.
• Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
• Genuine interest in developing within insurance and sales.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Offer and present insurance solutions — including policies and risk management options — with the aim of securing new business
• Support team performance through open communication with colleagues and management
• Identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
• Utilise all company-provided leads and develop effective ways to increase quote volume
• Achieve or exceed agreed targets for quotes, sales, and income
• Understand clients’ business operations, risks, and approach to insurance
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, service standards, and FCA regulations
