About the role

  • You’ll spend your time speaking to potential customers over the telephone, generating new business sales.
  • Sharing your knowledge of our insurance products and giving interested customers real reasons to buy.
  • Identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services.
  • It’s a fast-paced environment, so you’ll be the kind of person who thrives on busy days, converting leads, upselling, and working to targets.
  • This role is varied, as all our customers have individual needs that require bespoke insurance policies tailored to their circumstances.

The full-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week. We need you to be available Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm. Typically, full-time hours involve a 7.5-hour shift with an unpaid lunch break, plus one in three Saturdays from 9am-1pm (when working a Saturday, you'll get time off in lieu).

About you

It goes without saying that you will excel when helping customers by delivering exceptional service. Ideally, you will have experience working to targets in a sales environment, but if not, we will consider your application if you have experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on performance.

You will:

  • Be a strong communicator, able to adapt your style to each customer.
  • Enjoy working towards and exceeding performance targets and closing sales.
  • Be energetic and positive, with problem-solving skills.
  • Understand customer needs effectively, showing ownership, empathy, and resolution.
  • Possess strong verbal communication skills with adaptability.
  • Be self-motivated, driven, and resilient to meet and exceed performance targets.
