This is a superb opportunity for a New Business Development Director to join a truly global agency that delivers cutting-edge experiences, events, and exhibitions for high-profile clients.

The agency

This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, mainly in the healthcare and pharma sectors, to deliver a range of events and experiences. They organize large-scale congresses for thousands of attendees and standalone meetings for 500 delegates, with logistically complex elements, in fantastic destinations worldwide. As they continue to grow, they are hiring a New Business Development Director to support their ongoing expansion strategy.

The role

The role is highly autonomous yet collaborative. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the agency's global brand presence. This full-cycle sales role involves generating leads, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting credentials to clients, responding to RFPs, leading pitch processes, and securing contracts. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, develop winning pitch responses, and may travel to events to engage new contacts.

About you

A proven background in new business development within the events, exhibitions, and production industry is essential. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences events/communications sector would be advantageous but is not mandatory. Experience managing the entire sales cycle, networking at industry events, and securing new business for an agency are key requirements.
