This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, mainly in healthcare and pharma, to deliver a range of events and experiences. They organize large-scale congresses for thousands and standalone meetings for hundreds, with complex logistics, worldwide destinations, and a global reach. They are growing and hiring a New Business Development Director to support their expansion.
The role
A highly autonomous yet collaborative position responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the agency's global brand presence. The role involves lead generation, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting credentials, responding to RFPs, leading pitches, and closing contracts. It requires working with internal and external stakeholders, preparing winning pitch responses, and some travel to events to engage new contacts.
About you
Proven experience in new business development within events, exhibitions, and production industries is essential. Knowledge of pharmaceutical or Life Sciences events/communications sectors is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience managing the entire sales cycle, networking at industry events, and securing new business for an agency are crucial.
