This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, primarily in the healthcare and pharma sectors, to deliver a range of events and experiences. From large-scale congresses for thousands to standalone meetings for 500 delegates, with logistically complex elements, they operate worldwide in fantastic destinations. As they continue to grow, they are hiring a New Business Development Director to support their ongoing expansion.
The role
This highly autonomous yet collaborative role involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the agency's global brand presence. Responsibilities include generating leads, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting credentials, responding to RFPs, leading pitch processes, and securing contracts. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, preparing winning pitch responses, and some travel to events to engage new contacts.
About you
A proven background in new business development within the events, exhibitions, and production industry is essential. Experience or knowledge in pharmaceutical or Life Sciences events/communications sectors is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales cycle, network at industry events, and secure new business for an agency is crucial.
