This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, primarily in healthcare and pharma, to deliver a range of events from large-scale congresses for thousands to meetings for 500 delegates, often with complex logistics, worldwide in fantastic destinations. As they expand, they are hiring a New Business Development Director to support growth.
The role
A highly autonomous yet collaborative position responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to drive revenue and enhance the agency's global brand presence. This includes lead generation, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting credentials, responding to RFPs, leading pitches, and securing contracts. The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders and may require travel to events to engage contacts.
About you
Proven experience in new business development within the events, exhibitions, or production industry is essential. Knowledge of pharmaceutical or Life Sciences events/communications is a plus but not mandatory. Experience managing the entire sales cycle, networking at industry events, and securing new business for an agency is crucial.
