YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

This role is within Medialab’s business development team, responsible for marketing communications and new business activities. It offers an excellent opportunity to drive growth for the UK's leading independent media agency and Campaign’s 2024 Independent Media Agency of the Year. The successful candidate will lead new business efforts and collaborate closely with the marketing team.

Ideal candidates are proactive, excellent project managers, and strong communicators. Experience in an agency business development team and seeking increased responsibility and progression are essential.

You will line manage the Business Development Executive and work closely with client teams, the Medialab Board, and media and data specialists, gaining comprehensive insight into the business.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

New Business

  • Coordinate pitches—manage timelines, deliverables, design, and pitch theatre needs, ensuring high-quality responses from RFI to final pitch.
  • Develop and improve credentials and case studies.
  • Support prospecting—identify and research new business opportunities.
  • Champion Hubspot, maximizing its potential for the team.

Marketing

  • Assist in delivering the agency's marketing plan, working with the Head of Growth and Business Development Executive on social media, website, blog, awards, events, thought leadership, video content, and PR.

Must Have Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Experience in business development within a media or tech agency environment
