Job summary

VWFS UK is seeking a customer-focused handler to process dealer finance documents, verify details and expedite payouts. The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and excellent communication with dealers and internal teams.

You will work within a busy finance environment, ensuring adherence to data protection and consumer credit regulations while maintaining high service levels and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Full PC literacy is essential.
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• Experience in a customer service centre, call centre or finance company is desirable.
• Understanding of Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable.
• Strong customer service focus with a friendly manner.
• Ability to demonstrate systematic thought processes.
• Able to cope with pressure, meet deadlines and work flexible hours incl. evenings and some bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responding to dealer enquiries by phone.
• Entering and handling customer/dealer data with fast, accurate processing.

Job description

• Responding to dealer enquiries, mainly by phone.
• Entering / handling customer and dealer data via internal systems that processing procedures and response time guidelines are followed, with speed and accuracy being paramount.
• Validating customer documentation with proposal details when received and authorising appropriate payment to the dealer.
• Close liaison with other business areas including Customer Services.
• Maintaining your level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure you are competent to fulfil your role

This role is responsible for processing appropriate documents for finance submitted by Volkswagen Group Dealers/Retailers - verifying details and ensuring speedy pay out to our dealers. Advisors must possess a keen desire to ensure that dealer applications and queries, either over the phone or through correspondence, are dealt with quickly and efficiently. With key products and services aligned to some of the leading brands in the motor industry, our aim is to ensure second to none service levels and effective communications linked to timely and effective action.

• Full PC literacy essential

• Previous customer service centre, call centre or finance company experience is desirable
• An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable
