Job summary

Howden is seeking an experienced Mortgage Adviser with a focus on new build properties to join our growing team. You’ll provide mortgage and protection advice to clients, building lasting relationships with developers and housebuilders.

This role requires flexibility to attend weekend launches and events, and you will work within a hybrid model, combining client meetings with internal collaboration to deliver compliant, customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• CeMAP or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience advising on new build mortgages and working with developers.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations, including Consumer Duty principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients, developers and business partners.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable mortgage solutions.
• Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Act as a specialist adviser for new build property purchases.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with housebuilders and developers.
• Attend new build launches, marketing suites and events, including regular weekend appointments.
• Ensure all business is completed in line with FCA regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate client records and case documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
• Deliver against agreed business development and performance targets.
